Saturday August 12 through to Saturday August 19 at the Bega Valley Commemorative Civic Centre – 10am – 3pm daily.
Thsi was a highly successful Science Festival and National Science Week for the Sapphire Coast Science Hub. We had over 1,000 visitors and many local schools attended. Here is the final report about the event. Inspiring Australia NSW 2017 Sapphire Coast Science Festival Final Report 2
The festival featured local IT company Loaded Gamer, and the Eden Game Development Centre, who showcased games, coding and other activities including: Interactive technology gear, a Virtual Reality installation, Lego robotics and 3D printing with Bega Valley Shire Libraries

Alongside the Science on the Move and Intro to Gamer Dev Jam exhibits, Science Week participants had the opportunity to visit stands run by members of the Sapphire Coast Regional Science Hub. This was a wonderful opportunity to find out how local organisations are creating dynamic science engagement activities for the whole community.

The exhibition was be open to the public at the following times with an entry fee of: $10 for families; $5 for adults; $2 per child (age 6 to 18); Children under 6 free.
Saturday 12th August – Science Week Launch at 10:00am then till 3:00pm
Sunday 13th August – 10:00am – 3:00pm:
Monday 14th – Friday 18th August 10:00am – 3:00pm daily
Saturday 19th – 10:00am – 3:00pm and Festival closing.
School bookings were available and many local schools visited us.
